Skydiving Questions
What is a tandem skydive?
A tandem skydive means that you will skydive while securely attached to a qualified instructor. Your instructor will deploy your parachute, navigate to the landing area, and control the parachute to ensure a safe and soft landing. At Skydive Andorra, a camera flyer will also accompany you to capture every unbelievable second. So, all you have to do is enjoy the moment, and smile for the camera!
How long does freefall last?
Freefall lasts approximately 60 seconds. After the parachute is deployed, you will then have a relaxing canopy descent lasting four to five minutes.
What Should I Wear/Bring?
It depends on the season.
Spring / Summer: light wear.
Fall/ Winter: a warmer outfit will be recommended. Gloves will be provided if you forget them.
Can I Eat Food Before My Skydive?
Of course. Do not change its food rhythm. Alcohol consumption as well as the use of narcotics is prohibited 48H before the jump.
Is skydiving safe?
As with any adventure sport, skydiving has an element of risk. However, we minimize this risk by using state-of-the-art training and equipment. Our tandem requirements also help us maintain our safety procedures. All Skydive Andorra equipment is equipped with an automatic activation device (AAD), which will automatically deploy the parachute in the unlikely event that your instructor is unable to do so. All of our skydiving tandem instructors have undergone rigorous selection, training, and certification, and all parachutes are maintained under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rigger supervision. Our impressive fleet of aircraft is maintained to the very highest standards. Your safety really is our primary concern.
Important instructions for kids
From the age of 15, with a sufficient build to be well maintained in the harness as well as a signed certificate of both parents for minors (-Art. A. 322-148 of the sport code).
You must obtain a medical certificate with a statement of “no contraindication to tandem parachute jumping”, dated less than 180 days before the jump and issued by a general practitioner.
Do not exceed 90 kg, otherwise contact the technical staff.

Age & Weight
A minimum degree of fitness is required to complete a tandem skydive, and to ensure a safe landing for you and your instructor. Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is an indicator of this.

*Between 12 to 15 years old we need a medical certificate.
Can I Bring Friends, Family and Pets to Watch?
You can come with anyone you want to see each other.
Warning, the take-off area is not necessarily the landing area.
A shuttle can be set up if necessary, to return to the heliport.
